This entertaining day start at the heart of the old city-centre, the Beursplein, only 2 min. walk form the Central Station. After an introduction to the day by one of our guides, we will form teams of max. 8 people to do some treasure hunting in the red-light district.

The teams will find their way trough this mysterious area and try to solve different kinds of puzzles, and find answers to the questions that rise form this remarkable area.

After al this hard work, everyone is probably in need of refreshment. So after this quest, a nutritious lunch is available, with two complementary drinks. After lunch we will move on to declaring the winners of the quest. The winning team will receive a matching prize.

Once refreshed, our guides will lead you trough the Jordaan Area, the most sung-about neighbourhood of Amsterdam. They will tell you al the inside stories about this former working-class area.
Our next stop is a typical brown café, where our accordionist will take the lead and teach you some real Amsterdam folk-song singing, in The Netherlands known as ‘Smartlap’. Try to sing along and impress the Dutch!!

Singing takes up a lot of energy, and we guarantee you’ll be hungry after this workshop. So the next stop is one of the most famous tapas restaurants of Amsterdam. This spacious and rustic place will make you think you are in a Spanish café, instead of in Amsterdam! We offer various Spanish snacks, the so-called tapas, and of course you’ll need a beer to wash the food down. To end this great day in a spectacular way, we’ve arranged a real flamenco show in Andalusia style.

Get out your inner Sherlock Holmes and start searching for clues. In teams of 8 (max.) you’re about to discover the secrets of the red-light district. Who finds the most answers in this mysterious and famous neighbourhood?

For your lunch you will be taken to an historical Amsterdam site. In an old warehouse the table is full of buns, quiches, scones with jam and cream, fresh orange juice, coffee and tea.

15:45 – 17.00: Folksong workshop
To end your day in style, we arranged a folksong workshop. These folksongs called ‘smartlappen’ are very popular in the Netherlands, and the best come form Amsterdam. Try to sing along and impress the Dutch! It’s also possible to make your own cd with live-recorded songs to take home.
